A regular donation to Hummingbird House is a powerful way to support families caring for a child with a life-limiting condition. Your generosity helps them feel less alone while also ensuring we can plan for the future with a stable, reliable income.

Your donation can be weekly, monthly, or yearly—at any amount that suits you. Just $100 can provide essential services to families who need them most. Donations are tax-deductible. Read out FAQs below.

FAQs - regular donations

You will receive a confirmation email and tax receipt for each regular donation at the time the donation is made.
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Direct Debit. For Direct Debit, please email us for bank account details or send us a message via our contact form
You will be charged on the frequency that you choose to make your donation. For annual donations, this will be the same date each year, for monthly donations this will be on the same date each month from your first payment (i.e. if you go make your first donation on the 5th January, your next payment will automatically occur on 5th February).
You can update your payment details such as adding a new credit card and updating your expiry date by contacting our Fundraising Team on 07 3621 4365 or via our webform.

You can adjust or pause your donation at any time by contacting us. Instead of cancelling, you may choose to:

  • Pause your donations for a short period.
  • Reduce the amount or frequency of your donations.

Hummingbird House gave us a chance to spend time as a family in a non-clinical environment and gave us beautiful memories of what life should have been like with our little warrior. Words can’t describe what it meant to our family to be given the opportunity to spend not only Archie’s end of life care, but the following days after Archie passed away at Hummingbird House.
