FAQs - regular donations

You will receive a confirmation email and tax receipt for each regular donation at the time the donation is made.
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Direct Debit. For Direct Debit, please email us for bank account details or send us a message via our contact form. 
You will be charged on the frequency that you choose to make your donation. For annual donations, this will be the same date each year, for monthly donations this will be on the same date each month from your first payment (i.e. if you go make your first donation on the 5th January, your next payment will automatically occur on 5th February).
You can update your payment details such as adding a new credit card and updating your expiry date by contacting our Fundraising Team on 07 3621 4365 or via our webform.

You can adjust or pause your donation at any time by contacting us. Instead of cancelling, you may choose to:

  • Pause your donations for a short period.
  • Reduce the amount or frequency of your donations.

Before we knew about Hummingbird House we were both anxious. We had to think about all these things we weren’t equipped to think about. We had no idea about palliative care. But as her parents, we suddenly had to think about all those things we weren’t familiar with. Hummingbird House lifted us up.
