Hummingbird House welcomes families loving and caring for a child with a life-limiting condition from right across Queensland. Our aim is to help ease the burden of your care, so you can make the most of every precious moment you have with your child, and create memories to last a lifetime.

As a child and family focused service, we strive to provide true choice about when, where and how you receive our care. Eligible families can choose to access our services at our purpose-built home away from home in Brisbane, or in your home or community, which are delivered in person or via telehealth. Most importantly, you won’t incur any out of pocket costs to receive our care and support.

Hummingbird House welcomes and celebrates families from all walks of life, regardless of your culture, ethnicity, country of birth, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, religion and ability. We will walk alongside you at every point of your journey, to ensure our care and support feels right for your child, and your family.
